Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee President has declared to produce an animation movie on the life of Sikh martyr Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
SPGC president Avtar Singh Makkar said that in wake of success of 3D animation movie ‘Chaar Sahibzaade, by Harry Baweja’ the SGPC has decided to produce a movie elaborating on the life story and sacrifice of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.

While addressing a press conference the SGPC chief said that the Sikh body will set-up a sensor board for movies about the Sikh history and Sikh religion.
He stated that every producer and director willing to produce movies on Sikh history will have to go through the principles of Sikh religion in order to make movie/s about Guru Sahiban, Chaar Sahibzaade, Panj Pyare, and all the martyrs of the Sikh nation.
He said that a panel of Sikh intellectuals will be set-up soon for this task.
SGPC Member S. Ram Singh, Additional Secretary Diljit Singh Bedi, Manager Partap Singh and other SGPC officials were present on this occasion.
