Chandigarh: Taking a dig at state BJP leader and Haryana’s sports cum minister Anil Vij who has branded the supporters and sympathizers of Delhi University student Gurmehar Kaur with pro-Pakistan brush, the pro freedom group ‘Dal Khalsa’ leader Harpal Singh Cheema here today said that the leaders of the BJP and ABVP have gone berserk as (state) power has gone to their heads.
While addressing the media he further stated that said Anil Vij has a wishful thinking that all those who endorsed Gurmehar Kaur’s crusade against ABVP’s fascist agenda should be thrown out of India. Harpal Singh Cheema further stated that enough is enough and that the Indian civil society should break its silence and throws the BJP and ABVP out of political arena. Moreover, he stated that Gurmehar Kaur who is under mental stress has done her job and raised the valid issues before the society. Now its the turn of socio-political activists to take the fight to its logical conclusion.
