Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party on wednesday reacted on the incident of Badal family owned Orbit transport employees misbehaving with Punjab roadways employees and barring them to pick up passengers on route. Obrit employees bullied the state own transport employees and violated the government norms regarding time table of transport route.

In a press note issued from AAP headquarters, the leader of opposition Harpal Singh Cheema and chief spokesperson MLA Baljinder Kaur maintained that the incident exposed the bonhomie between Badals-Captain that even after change of guard in state the transport owned by Badals is running in the state illegally. The leaders alleged that there is no rule of law in state and might is right is policy is adopted by powerful families to loot the state resources.

Harpal Singh Cheema said that Capt. before elections used to boast of putting Badals behind the bar for their misdeeds but is shying away from it after getting power in state. He claimed that Badals helped Capt. to form govt. in Punjab bowing to that he has not taken any action against the father-son duo. He demanded that a case must be registered against the employees of Badals to abstain govt. employees to perform their duty.

The LoP alleged that Capt. has abandoned the state and has no interest in the issues and problems of people of state that is leading to the depleting financial, social and general condition of state.

Prof. Baljinder Kaur maintained that Badal-Congress are hand in glove performing corrupt practices in state and the corrupt discourse set up by Badals is carried away by congress leaders. The govt. institutions are being looted in same way as previous govt did. She accused Capt. of backstabbing the people of state by failing to fulfill the promises made in manifesto.

Showing solidarity with Roadways/Punbus employees, Baljinder Kaur said that Badals can’t let them down to perform their duty and if something similar happens in future then AAP will oppose it.

AAP MLA said that it is shameful that Badals have stopped the bus that was started on the request of a MLA of Congress itself. Demanding an action against those responsible, Baljinder Kaur said that the security of roadways employees should be ensured so that they can perform their duty properly.
