Three Sikh youth groups namely Panth Sewak Jatha Doaba, Sikh Youth Power of Punjab and Sikh Jatha Malwa organized a Panthic Diwan at Gurdwara Thara Sahib, Chhevin Patshahi, Eyali Kalan, Ludhiana to mark the memory of martyrs of June 1984 Ghallughara. Speaking during this event Bhai Mandhir Singh said that Sikhs need to revive four traditional practices and institutions in wake of changing political situation. To establish a recognized decision making process Sikhs need to revive Gurmata institution. In order to form struggle oriented organizational structures, Sikhs need to revive Hanni-Hanni Miri or the decentralized form of organization. To establish a recognized form of leadership, Sikhs need to revive Panch-Pardhani system/form of leadership. And fourthly, Sikhs need to Free Akal Takht from electoral players and a Jatha free from electoral or other such considerations should get the Sewa of Akal Takht Sahib.
