Justice Markandey Katju meets Indian President; Seeks release of Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar

New Delhi: Former Supreme Court of India judge and former chairman of Press Council of India Markandey Katju met Indian President Pranab Mukharjee on September 03 to seek ‘pardon’ for Sikh political prisoner Professor Davinderpal Singh Bhullar.

“With the President of India. I had gone to meet him to seek pardon for Devinderpal Singh Bhullar, whom I believe to be innocent”, said former SCI judge wrote in a Facebook post.
