Livermore, California: Producers of upcoming Punjabi movie “Patta-Patta Singhan Da Vairi” have announced that the movie will be released on April 03 under the banner of Fateh Sports Club. Harsimran Singh and Sandeep Singh Janty of Fateh Sports Club told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that the movie will present ‘positive aspects’ of Sikh militant movement.
Patta Patta Singha Da Vairi – A Film By Raj Kakra
Harsimran Singh and Sandeep Singh Janty claimed that Patta-Patta Singhan Da Vairi is different from “Punjab 1984” movie. They said that militant movement was a people’s movement and it’s “true aspects” need to be presented before the people.
Punjabi lyricist turned singer-cum- actor Raj Kakra is on lead role in Patta-Patta Singhan Da Vairi. His début movie Kaum De Heere was banned in India, though it was release in other countries.
There is sudden rise in movies related to ‘1984’ and the Sikh struggle in last few years.
