Amritsar (June 8, 2010): Today a local court acquitted Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu, Chairman of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Panch Pardhani). He was charged with sedition on the complaint of a Punjab Police employee, for allegedly making provocative on 6 June, 2007 at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib (Amritsar) during Holocaust memorial Samagams, held there to observe 23rd anniversary of martyrdom of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
June 5 and June 6 are reminders of the ‘Operation Blue Star’ when Indian military, led by General Kuldip Singh Brar, launched attack on the [Darbar Sahib], the holiest shrine of Sikhs in 1984, to arrest Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, the only leader who had been boldly fighting for the rights of Sikhs.
Amritsar (June 6, 2010): Slogans of 'Khalistan Zindabad' filled the skies at the Amritsar on Sunday, as Sikhs in large numbers had assembled to observe 26th anniversary of the beginning of third holocaust of Sikh history.

New Delhi (June 2, 2010): The trial against senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for his role in November 1984 Sikh genocide will begin on July 1, 2010. The trial will be held on day-to-day basis.

Chandigarh/ Ludhiana (June 04, 2010): During the hearing on a petition moved by Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) in Punjab and High Court to seek judicial relief against ban on “Holocaust memorial march” imposed by Punjab Government, State's counsel raised serious objections and claimed that Panch Pardhani is not entitled to receive any sort of relief under Indian Constitution, as it adhere to the ideology of Khalistan.

Mohali/Patiala/ Ropar (June 1, 2010): Punjab government unleashed ‘state terror’ to sabotage ‘Holocaust Memorial march’ that was scheduled to start today. Punjab police, as per directions of the State Government led by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), surrounded the Gurudwara Sahib situated at historic ground of Chapparchiri to prevent entry of Sikhs. “Section 144 (Cr.P.C) has been imposed by Deputy Commissioner and police shall maintain law and order situation in all cases” a police officer is reported to have said.
