At Last Jathedar has acted, Bikram Majithia directed to undergo Seva at all Takhts for 3 days each

Amritsar, Punjab (May 01, 2014): The Five Takht Jathedars have reportedly pronounced religious punishment to Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) leader and Punjab Cabinet Minister Bikram Majithia for his sacrilege act. Bikram Majithia will undergo religious sewa at all Five Takhts for three days each.

Notably, Bikram Majithia during election campaign in favour BJP candidate Arun Jaitely distorted a Shabad of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The Sikh bodies were up in arms and they urged the Akal Takht jathedar to hand over severe punishment to Bikram Majithia.
Commenting on today’s decision, Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh said at least the Akal Takht Jathedar has dared to act against the close relative of mighty Badals and his de-facto appointing authority.
It happens to be a rare chance when Jathedars’ have discharged their responsibility’s to satisfy the anger of Sikhs, who are hurt because of Majithia’s stupid and arrogant behaviour.
He said they hope Majithia would regret deep within for his shameful act.
