Facebook closes spam page about Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale

Ludhaina, Punjab: A Facebook page titled: “Sant Ji Troll” has reportedly been removed by the social networking site as the page was indulged in offense behavior. This page was at the center of discussions among Sikh Facebook users for last few days.

It seems as if this page was created by someone with mala-fide. Various fabricated photos of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were posted on this page.
Sikh Facebook users encouraged each other to lodge complaints with the via Facebook support dashboard against this page.
As a result the page was reviewed by Facebook and it was found violate of Community Standards.
A message from Facebook informs: “WE reviewed your report for Sant Ji Troll.
We reviewed the Page you reported for harassment. Since it violated our Community Standards, we removed it. Thanks for your report. We let Sant Ji Troll know that their Page has been removed, but not who reported it”.
