Jammu: Former Amritsar MP and Hindutva outfit Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Navjot Sidhu faced protests in Jammu during one of his recent election rallies. Sikh youth groups protested against ‘Sikh face’ of Hindutva forces and showed Navjot Sidhu black flags while raising slogans against him.
Sikh Siyasat News sources said that Sikh youth organized a rally against Navjot Sidhu while he was in Gandhinagar campaigning for elections in Jammu on December 14, 2014.
Navjot Sidhu was reportedly roughed up by Sikh youths during that an election rally.
On the other hand Navjot Sidhu put the blame on Punjab’s ruling party and BJP ally Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) leadership for the incident.
