US citizen continues to be jailed in India as his fasting father remains Hospitalized & force-fed

Ludhiana, Punjab: An old aged man of 82 years named Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is grappling with the government for 76 days for the release of Sikh Detainees who have already served their life sentences. Labeling his hunger strike as a danger to Peace, the Punjab Government has arrested Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa leveling false charges of 107/151. His son Bhai Ravinderjeet Singh Gogi, a US citizen, is also detained by the Punjab Government under section 107/151.

Ravinderjeet Singh Gogi was yesterday (on April 01) presented in the court third time, but the the concerned Judge was again absent. His custody was further extended to to April 13.

On the other hand, health condition of Bapu Surat Singh Ji Khalsa is worsening day by day due to infection. Bapu Surat Singh’s supporters maintain that Punjab police and Punjab government have deliberately put the life of Bapu Surat Singh at risk.
