Announcing Two Candidates without consulting other parties was a mistake: Simranjeet Singh Mann

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) president Simranjeet Singh Mann said in a written press release that announced two of his party’s candidates without consulting other groups, that had joined hands with SAD (Mann) for organising the Sarbat Khalsa 2015 event, was a mistake.
It was a mistake on our part to announce party candidates from Ludhiana East and Dharamkot constituencies without consulting other groups and we are apologetic for it, said Simranjeet Singh Mann.

He said that the step to announce these candidates was taken in haste to pose a challenge to opponent political parties but now the party has realised it’s fault and all future candidates will be announced only after consultation with other groups.
S. Mann said in his written statement that SAD (Mann) and other groups would form government in Punjab after 2017 assembly polls with the help of the Sikh nation and Punjabi people.
