Journalist Surinder Singh (Talking Punjab) acquitted by TADA court; Released from Ambala jail

Chandigarh: A designated TADA court acquitted journalist Surinder Singh on yesterday (Sept. 7). Advocate Gurpreet Singh, counsel of journalist Surinder Singh told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that the court of Additional Session judge Rakesh Singh which was also designated as the TADA court acquitted journalist Surinder Singh in a case registered against him in September 1988.

Notably, journalist Surinder Singh had surrendered before a court in Ambala in October 2015. Pursuant to the acquittal, Surinder Singh was released from Ambala jail yesterday evening.
