Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) President Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced the new team of district presidents while releasing the third list of organizational changes made in the party setup.
Disclosing here at the party headquarters, SAD (B) president said that the senior leaders have been assigned with the new role of district presidents to strengthen the party at the base level. These were former minister Ajit Singh Kohar, who has been made president of district Jalandhar (rural), former minister Sikandar Singh Maluka as president of District Bathinda (Rural), former minister Surjit Singh Rakhra was appointed president of District Patiala (Rural), Santa Singh Umaidpur was appointed president of police District Khanna, Darshan Singh Shivalik was appointed president of Police District Jagraon and former MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon has been appointed as District president of Ludhiana (Urban).
He further told that Veer Singh Lopoke would be work as district president of Amritsar (rural), Gurpartap Singh Tikka as district president of Amritsar (Urban), Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha has been made president of District Tarn Taran (Rural), Swaran Singh Chanarthal appointed as president of district Fatehgarh Sahib (Rural), Mantar singh Brar as district president of Faridkot (rural), Shri Satish Grover as president of Faridkot (Urban), Avtar Singh Jeera appointed as president of Firozpur (rural), Surinder Singh Thekedar as president of District Hoshiarpur (rural), Gurmail Singh Mansa as president of District Mansa (rural), Shri Prem Kumar arora as president of Mansa (Urban), Kanwarjit Singh Rozy Barkandi as president of district Shri Mukatsar Sahib (rural), tirth Singh Mahla as president of Moga (rural), Shri Bal Krishan Bali as president of Moga (Urban), shri Ashok Aneja as President of Fazilka (urban).
