According to information shared by Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur: S. Hari Singh Grewal, Additional Sessions Judge (Ludhiana) acquitted all four persons in this case on May 23, 2013.
During the arguments in this case prosecution lawyer Advocate Tatla claimed that the case was proved beyond reasonable doubt against the accused persons but the defence lawyer Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur successfully rebutted the prosecution’s claim. He pointed out various apparent and technical flaws in the police case.
While agreeing with the defence arguments the court acquitted Bhai Bakshish Singh and others.
