Jalandhar, Punjab: Enraged over the recent Moga Orbit Bus incident, the activists of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by party MP Harinder Singh Khalsa tired to stop an Indo-Canadian bus. The Indo-Canadian buses are reportedly owned by the Badal family.
AAP activists tired stop the bus at PAP chowk Jalandhar but the bid was foiled by the police.
AAP’s Fategarh Sahib MP Harinder Singh Khalsa said: “Deputy CM’s move to keep Orbit buses off the road till its personnel are trained is a mere eyewash. The move makes no sense until buses of other Badal-owned companies such as Indo-Canadian and Dabwali Transport continue to ply on roads.”
AAP activists burned effigy of the Badal government and demanded cancellation of all route permits of buses owned by the Badal Family.
