AAP leader Phoolka hails Nobel Peace Prize for Kailash Satyarth; Say Kailash also supported justice for 1984 victims

Ludhiana, Punjab: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and senior advocate Harvinder Singh Phoolka has hailed Nobel Peace Prize for children rights activist Kailash Satyarthi.

HS Phoolka is a lawyer for Kailash Satyarthi and his organization Bachpan Bachao Andolan. He has been conducting the cases for Bachpan Bachao Andolan since last ten years.

Kailash Satyarthi has been working against bonded labour, Child labour, trafficking of girls and Missing Children due to his efforts the laws were changed to protect the rights of the children. The name of Kailash Satyarthi was announced today for the prestigious prize along with Pakistani schoolgirl and education rights campaigner Malala Yousafzai.

Advocate HS Phoolka said that Kailash Satryarthi and Bachpan Bachao Andolan have fully supported the struggle for punishment for the guilty of November 1984.

Kailash Satyrathi participated in the candle light march at India Gate on the 28 anniversary of the victims. He also participated in the photo exhibition held under the name of “Forgotten Citizens” on 29 anniversary of 1984 victims, said Phoolka.
