Chandigarh: Journalist turned politician and Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Kharar Kanwar Sandhu has won a close on contest from Jagmohan Singh Kang of the Congress party with a lead of 2,012 votes.
Kanwar Sandhu bagged 54,171 votes, where as Jagmohan Singh Kang 52,159 votes. SAD (Badal) Ranjit Singh Gill lasted third with 46,807 votes.
