Antim Sanskar of Sikh Activist Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau Scheduled for Today

Faridkot: Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau, a prominent Sikh activist, tragically lost his life on October 9, 2024, when he was shot by two unidentified assailants while returning home. The police are currently investigating the incident but have yet to make any arrests or reveal significant breakthroughs in the case.

The family of Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau has announced that his Antim Sanskar (cremation) will take place today, October 16, 2024, at 1 PM at the cremation ground in Hari Nau village, Faridkot district.

Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau was a youth activist, known for his close association with the late actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu and as a key member of the Waris Punjab De group founded by Deep Sidhu. After Sidhu’s death, Gurpreet maintained a connection with Amritpal Singh, who took over the presidency of Waris Punjab De. However, he later distanced himself from Singh while remaining active in grassroots activism and on social media platforms.
