Chandigarh: Responding to the sarcastic remarks by Badals regarding his absence from the political ground, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann today vowed “Why Badals are worried about me, rather they should work for the people for which they were elected to”.
“I was out of the political scene as I have to meet my relatives and friends and moreover why Badal is worried about me”, Mann said while referring to the statement of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, in which he sought written complaint for investigating his absence.
If Badal was seriously worried about Punjab, he should locate those who were responsible for the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Behbal Kalan, identify those “un-identified” Cops, who fired on the peaceful protestors and killed two youth, find out those who were involved in the sacrilege of Quran-e-Sharif at Malerkotla, Mann said.
“Badal should put his energy to locate those who were responsible for the food grain scam worth Rs 12,000 crore, find out jobs for unemployed youth, look for the reasons behind clean chit to SP Salwinder Singh, who was directly connected to the Pathankot Attack”, Mann said adding that even Badal should emphasise to locate the real persons involved in the multi-crore drug racket in Punjab.
Badal should find out the reasons due to which, farmers were forced to take the extreme step of suicides, Mann suggested to CM.
On the claim of opposition parties that AAP’s “Jhaaru hun teele teele ho gaya hai” (Broom is scattered now), Mann said “Agar Jhaaru de do tin teele nikal vee jaan, taan vee Jhaaru Jhaaru hi rehenda hai, par je Takdi di rassi tut jaye, te os ton tolya nai ja sakda, je agar panje dee ik ungal vaddi jave, te oh panja nahi renda, chouka ban janda hai” (Even if two or three sticks of Broom gets scatter, it remains Broom only, but if one of the leg of scale (SAD’s Symbol) falls apart, it remains of no use and same in the case of Hand (Congress’ Symbol), if any of the finger gets amputated, entire hand becomes of no use.)
