Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala seeks apology for ‘utterances’; Bhai Daduwal advocates pardon for Bhai Ajnala

Amritsar: Damdami Taksal Ajnala chief Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala has sought ‘apology’ for his ‘utterances’ during a Shaheedi Samagam held at Sangrawan few days back. In a video released on social networking website Facebook, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala could be seen as seeking apology from the Sikh sangat.

He said that some of his utterances, made during a Shaheedi Samgam at Sangrawan, has hurt the feelings of the global Sikh sangat. Seeking apology for the same, he added that he would not repeat such a mistake in future.

In another video, released separately, but apparently recorded at jointly with Bhai Amrik Singh’s video, Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal has urged the Sikh sangat to accept Bhai Ajnala’s apology.

It may be recalled that Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala had used foul language against Sikh pracharak Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale during the Shaheedi Samagam held at Sangrawan on June 07. His comments had invited widespread criticism. Taking strong notice of Bhai Amrik Singh’s speech, the Akhand Kirtani Jatha International had announced to withdraw its’ support from Bhai Amrik Singh as “Jathedar” of Takht Kesgarh Sahib.
