Bhai Bittu transfered to Amritsar Jail?

Mansa/Amritsar: (September 15, 2009) As per unconfirmed reports from various sources it is considered that Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu, chairman of SAD (A) Panch Pardhani is transferred to Amritsar Jail from Bathinda Jail.

Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema informed SikhSiyasat Network that it is considered that as per directions of higher authorities Mansa Police has shifted Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu from Bathinda to Amritsar Jail. Bhai Bittu was lodged in Bathinda Jail yesterday as the Mansa Magistrate refused to extend his police remand.

While some other reports suggest that Bhai Daljeet Singh is taken on police remand by Jandiala police in relation to someunsolved case pending there. It is learned that it is general practice of Punjab Police to produce Political detainees before duty magistrate in the late evening so as to prevent them from availing legal aid.
