Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu sent to Bathinda Jail

Mansa (September 14, 2009) Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu, Chairman of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) Panch Pardhani was produced before regualr Magistrate here by Mansa Police as one day police remand given by duty magistrate of Mansa ended. Magistrate after considering pleas of police and Adovcate Ajit Singh Bhangu, council for Bhai Bittu, refused to extend the police remand and directed the police to Send Bhai Bittu to Bathinda Jail.

Yesterday Bhai Daljeet Singh and Gurdeep Singh Raju were brought to Mansa by the District police on production warrents and were produced before duty magaistrate late evening, who gave just one day remand and ordered police to produce Bhai Bittu and Raju brefore regaular magaistrate.
