Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara send thanks to the Sikh Sangat

New Delhi, India (September 02, 2013): According to information sent by Manpreet Singh from Delhi, Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara has extended thanks to the Sikh Sangat for observing the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhai Dilawar Singh at Akal Takhat Sahib on August 31, 2013.

Bhai Hawara reportedly thanked to all Sikh organizations and the Sikh Sangat. He reportedly said: great are the people who remember the sacrifices of their martyrs.

It is notable that Bhai Dilawar Singh has been declared a “National Sikh Martyr” by Akal Takhat Sahib. He had laid his life for ending the tyrant rule of Punjab CM Beant Singh, who was assassinated on August 31, 1995 in Chandigarh.

Bhai Jagtar Singh is serving life term in this case and is currently confined in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
