Chandigarh: As per the media reports Amarinder Singh lead Congress party government in Punjab last month (7th April) deputed two hi-tech ambulances along with a doctor on 24 hours service of former controversial DGP of Punjab KPS Gill at his Delhi residence. One ambulance belonging to health department of Punjab government is from Bathinda and other is from Fazilka district.
A Punjabi vernacular notes that Dr Karamdeep Pal, who is deputed in the ‘service’ of KPS Gill by Capt. Amarinder Singh had resigned shortly from his post as he got feed up with his ‘VVIP deputation’.

Media reports further indicates that keeping in view the hot climatic conditions of Delhi, Punjab government decided to send in ambulance equipped with air-conditioner (AC) and for that purpose ambulance purchased for Fazilka under border area residence welfare scheme worth Rs 24 lakhs was chosen to serve the purpose. A team from Punjab Health Department has also been sent and is currently residing at Punjab Bhavan in Delhi.
Moreover, it is only under the strict vigil of the Central Reserve Police (CRP) that the doctors will be allowed to perform daily medical check up of KPS Gill. It is speculated that KPS Gill is suffering from serious aliments but detail condition of is health is still a mystery for others.
It is notable that KPS Gill had unleashed region of state-terror on civilian Sikh population after assuming office as Punjab DGP. The period of KPS Gill’s tenure as Punjab police chief witnessed mass level atrocities on the civilian Sikh population when thousands were subjected to enforced disappearances, killed in fake/ staged encounters and were cremated as “unclaimed dead bodies”.
