Congress released 5th list of 16 Lok Sabha candidates, including 3 from Punjab

New Delhi, India (March 24, 2014): It is learnt that the Congress party released it’s 5th list of 16 candidates for Lok Sabha Election. The list released on March 24 includes three candidates from Punjab.

Congress has announced candidates for Ferozepur, Faridkot and Fatehgarh Sahib.

Punjab Congress legislature party leader Sunil Jakhar has been announced Congress candidate from Ferozepur.

Joginder Singh Panjgrain has been named party candidate from Faridkot (Reserve) constituency.

Sadhu Singh Dharamsot has been declared Congress candidate from Fatehgarh Sahib (Reserve) constituency.

Congress is still to declare candidates from Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur seats.

Besides Punjab, the list includes two names from Karnataka, one from Maharashtra, one from Orissa, two from Rajasthan, one from Uttar Pradesh, three from Tamil Nadu and three from West Bengal.
