Dal Khalsa to hold debate on writings of Bhai Gajinder Singh

Amritsar (October 06, 2009) Dal Khalsa is going to conduct a debate on poetic and other writings of its’ founding member Bhai Gajinder Singh, informed Dal’s Secretary, Bhai Kanwarpal Singh Bittu. In an email sent to SikhSiyasat Network Bhai Bittu informed that the debate shall be held on 6th October, 2009 at Aroma Hotel, Chandigarh. “Sirdar Ajmer Singh (Sikh political analyst and author of three Books on Political struggle of Sikhs), Sirdar Karamjit Singh (Ex-Asst. Editor of Punjabi Tribune), Professor Jagmohan Singh Tony (Editor, WSN), Sukhdeep Singh Barnala (Poet and Novelist) & Prabhjot Singh Nawanshahr (Sikh Youth of Punjab) shall share their views.” Said Kanwarpal Singh. “Discussion shall also be open for audience also.” he added.

It is worth notable that Bhai Gajinder Singh is living in exile since 1981, when he hijacked a Plain to show their protest against atrocities of Indian State against the Sikhs. His book of poems Panj Teer Hor was banned for reading by the State.
