Chandigarh: Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) has obtained and compiled the resolutions passed by 66 village panchayats supporting the parole plea of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, currently confined in Central Jail No.15, Mandoli, New Delhi.
These Panchayatnamas, issued by respective village councils, express that the local Panchayats and villagers have no objection to Bhai Hawara’s release on parole. Many of the resolutions cite the advanced age and illness of his mother, Mata Narinder Kaur, as a humanitarian reason for his temporary release.
The compiled document, which includes the list of panchayats and copies of their Panchayatnamas, has been forwarded to Delhi Home Minister Ashish Sood by Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, who is coordinating the process.
