Punjab’s farmers are protesting at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders between Punjab and Haryana. They wanted to reach Delhi to seek the fulfilment of long pending demands but were stopped by the Haryana government by erecting concrete barricades resulting in complete blockage of the roads leading to Delhi. This forced the farmers to camp at the borders resulting in the protests that are continuing for over a year now.
