Former SAD chief Jagdev Singh Talwandi passes away

Ludhiana, Punjab: Former president of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Jagdev Singh Talwandi passed away today. As per media reports, he took last breaths on Friday morning at DMC Hospital in Ludhiana.

The 85-year-old leader was suffering from a cardiac ailment and had to be put on the life-saving equipment. However, he was said to be improving but breathed his last Friday Morning.

SAD (Badal) leaders have condoled the death.

Talwandi had led Shiromani Akali Dal besides heading Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC).
