Hyderabad, India (July 07, 2014): The 419th ‘Prakash Gurpurab’ celebrations of sixth Sikh guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji, concluded at Hyderabad on Sunday (July 06) with a large number of Sikhs devotees and other community faiths celebrating with religious fervour, gaiety and devotion.
The major attraction of the concluding event was organised under the aegis of Prabhandak Committee, Gurudwara Sahib Hargobindpuri, Amberpet where a large number of devotees participated in the ‘Vishaal Deewan’ (Mass Congregation).
Andhra Pradhesh state’s Home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and other political leaders also offered prayers on the occasion.
Prabhandak Committee president S. Bhag Singh said that the congregation which began at 11 am continued up to 4 pm and was marked by the recitations of Gurbani Keertan by the renowned Ragi Jathas who were specially invited from various parts of the country for the important occasion.
Bhai Gurmail Singh ji, Bibi Harjeet Kaur from Hoshiarpur, Hazuri Ragi Bhai Gunwant Singh ji and other Ragi Jathas recited shabad keertan.
