I am an RSS man, will remain so for life, says UP governor Ram Naik

Uttar Pradesh, India: Saffronization of Indian administration and constitutional posts in India is an open secret now, as the persons who are handy to the process have started openly admitting it. A week after hosting the Hindutva fountainhead Rashtriya Sewayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik said yesterday that he would always be a thorough RSS person irrespective of the political or administrative positions he might hold.

“Once a person joins the RSS he becomes an RSS person for life, irrespective of whatever positions he may occupy later,” said UP governor Ram Naik, who has been a minister in center as well.

The BJP had changed a number of state governors after coming into power at Center and most of the new governors appointed by the BJP were from RSS cadres.
