Imprisonments Won’t Deter Resolve Of Freedom Fighters, Says Dal Khalsa

Chandigarh: Reacting upon the sentencing of Sikh Political prisoner Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara, the pro-freedom party of the Sikhs Dal Khalsa’s spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh said though the special CBI court has handed over life sentence till death to him, we believe that such sentences won’t deter the resolve of freedom fighters to fight for the just cause.

Terming Jagtar a real Tara (Star) of Sikh Struggle for Independence, he said it’s hard to accept that Tara would never be able to walk free from prison.
The Dal Khalsa leader praised the steadfastness and determination of Bhai Jagtar Singh who not only boldly owned the assassination of late chief minister Beant Singh but also justified his action on the basis that it was last resort to restore Sikh human rights.
Jagtar Singh Tara’s other colleagues especially Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara is facing life imprisonment till death while Bhai Balwant Singh is on death row in the same case.
