Indian PM Narendra Modi visits Harmandar Sahib in Amritsar; Siropa offered inside Darbar Sahib

Amritsar: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Darbar Sahib Amritsar today. He was accompanied by top leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) including Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Union minister Harsimrat Badal during his visit to the Darbar Sahib.

Earlier today, Narendra Modi reached arrived straight at Hussainiwala in Ferozepur district where he addressed a function organized to mark the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

Narendra Modi was bestowed with a ‘Siropa’ inside the Darbar Sahib.

United Sikh Mission (Delhi) has raised concerns over SGPC’s move to offer ‘Siropa’ to Narendra Modi inside the sanctum sanctorum of Darbar Sahib. A representative of USM said that when other dignitaries are honoured at information office of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC), why SGPC offered ‘Siropa’ to Narendra Modi inside the Darbar Sahib?
