Internecine clash at Takht Patna Sahib highly shameful and painful: Dal Khalsa

Hoshiarpur, Punjab (January 07, 2014): Dal Khalsa has termed the internecine clash between supporters of two religious personalities at Takht Patna Sahib as highly shameful and painful.

Party head Bhai Harcharanjit Singh Dhami said it was disgraceful that the violent clash occurred on sacred occasion of Gurpurab of Guru Gobind Singh.
According to sources, Giani Partap Singh who is Head Granthi of Takht Sachkhand Hazur Sahib was appointed Additional Jathedar of Takht Patna Sahib, to which the Jathedar Gaini Iqbal Singh and his supporters objected that led to bloody tussle.
Condemning the incident, Dhami said notwithstanding who is at fault, the incident has put the heads of every sensible person hang in shame.
