It was a Direct Assault, Not a Military Operation

On June 5, 2024, Gurdwara Attari Sahib in the village of Sultanwind, Amritsar Sahib, hosted the Panthic Diwan to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Teeja Ghallughara of June 1984. The event was attended by many distinguished figures of the Panth who delivered speeches on the sacrifices made by the martyrs. During the event, Bhai Harnek Singh Fauji (Waris of Punjab) spoke about the malevolent intentions of the Indian Government at that time, stating that the incident was not just a military operation but a direct assault on the Sikh community, and that the martyrs bravely upheld their tradition of martyrdom in response.
