Chandigarh: Jammu and Kashmir government has reportedly reinstated Punjabi language as a subject in government run schools.
It is notable that Mehbooba Mufti government had declared to remove Punjabi language from the schools. The move was opposed by local Sikh groups and Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhdandak Committee (SGPC) and Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC).
