Baru Sahib/Ludhiana (March 04, 2013): The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib that runs various Akal Academy Schools, has expressed sympathy with families of school children who died in a road mishap near Jalandhar in Punjab.
“The Kalgidhar Trust expresses its deepest sympathies for the bereaved families of the 12 kids lost in today’s unfortunate accident”, reads a post by Kalgidhar Trust on it’s Facebook Fans Page.
“We are all in grief with the families who have suffered and we all join in prayers and moral support for all families. May Waheguru bless them with the strength to bear this irreparable loss”, it reads further.
According to information in this moment of grief, as a humble support, the Trust has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 1 lakh per bereaved child and Rs. 50,000/- for the serious child.
“All medical costs would be borne by the Kalgidhar Trust-Baru Sahib”, the Kulgidhar Trust has posted on the social networking site.
It is notable that a collusion had taken place between a school bus belonging to an Akal Acadmey School near Jalandhar and a truck on Monday morning (March 04, 2013). The accident has resulted in death of 13 persons, including 12 school children. The driver of the bus had also lost his life in this tragedy.
As per media reports a truck loaded with bricks went out of control and collided with the school bus. As per reports an FIR has been registered against the truck driver, who has been absconding since the accident that tool place around 8 am on March 04, 2013.
