Khalsa Aid CEO Ravi Singh Turn Down “Indian of the Year” Award Nomination Offer

London: It is learnt that international humanitarian aid organisation Khalsa Aid CEO Ravi Singh has turned down a nomination offer for an Indian Award.

In a Facebook post dated 22 May, 2018 Ravi Singh said:  “I recently received the “INDIAN Of The YEAR” award nomination. I had to respectfully turn it down as I don’t identify myself as Indian….. Can’t sell my Panjabi roots for a ?…“.

Khalsa Aid is engaged in indiscriminately extending humanitarian aid in various parts of the world.
