New Delhi: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate Kiran Bedi has reportedly host election from Krishna Nagar Constituency. The news about defeat of Kiran Bedi is reported by PTI news agency.
Kiren Bedi loses from Krishna Nagar constituency, PTI tweeted.
Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate SK Bagga (Advocate) has registered victory over Kiran Bedi from Krishna Nagar constituency.
Kiran Bedi was leading till last round of counting, but she suffered major setback in last round and lost Krishna Nagar constituency by more than two thousand votes.
Krishan Nagar was considered to be a secure castle of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).
Kiran Bedi addressed media persons after announcement of her defeat. She extended greetings to Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal. Kiran Bedi also thanked people of Delhi, especially the women, who waited till midnight to see her during election campaign.
She said that she was to bring a ‘model’ of development for Delhi.
Kiran Bedi said that Arvind Kejriwal’s hard-work of last 5 years has brought him to victory.
