Chandigarh: Senior leader of the Aam Adami Party (AAP) and Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly  Sukhpal Singh Khair’s mother Ms Mohinder Kaur passed away on Monday. Ms. Mohinder Kaur, wife of late Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, former Education Minister, Punjab breathed her last on Monday night at her residence here.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in his condolence message  conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly and his family. He was saddened to hear of Sukhpal Singh Khaira’s loss and his prayers were with the bereaved family in their hour of grief, the message read.

Meanwhile, Speaker of the Punjab legislative assembly Rana KP Singh in his condolence message stated that Ms. Mohinder Kaur played a vital role in the political career of her husband and son. Rana KP Singh expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed to God almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to family.
