In June 1984, when the Indian army attacked Sri Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) and other Sikh Gurdwara Sahibs, the attack was code-named as “Operation Blue Star”. A Pakistani poet Afzal Ahsan Randhawa wrote a poem in June 1984 and described the attack attack as “Navan Ghalughara” (new holocaust).
