NDA Set to Return to Power in India: BJP Set to Sweep Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat Besides Other States

Chandigarh: Sweeping through most parts of Indian subcontinent, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is set to return to power. As per trends available at the time of writing this news BJP was leading on 292 seats while the Congress trailed far behind with 51. If the trends stay until final results, the BJP would have improved on its 2014 performance when it had won 282 seats on its own in the 543-member Lok Sabha. Adding the seats won by its allies, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance could win 343 seats, up from 336 in 2014.
In Rajasthan BJP is leading on 24 out of 25 seats. In Madhya Pradesh it is leading 28 out of 29 seats. It is leading all 26 seats of Gujarat, all 7 seats of Delhi, all 5 of Uttarakhand, all 4 of Himachal Pradesh.
