Police Remand of Harminder Singh Mintu Extended for 2 More Days

Nabha: The Nabha police was able to secure get two more days police remand of Harminder Singh Mintoo in relation to Nabha Jailbreak case on Tuesday (Dec. 20). He was presented before duty magistrate on Tuesday after his 5 days police remand expired.

Harminder Singh Mintoo’s counsel Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that a police party led by Nabha Kotwali SHO Rajesh Kumar presented Bhai Mintoo before the duty magistrate in FIR no 142/16, police station Kotwali (Nabha) u/s 307, 392, 120B, 223, 224, 148 and 149 IPC and 25 and 27 of Arms Act.

The defence lawyers, Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur and Advocate Sikander Partap Singh, opposed the police plea for further remand.

“After hearing both sides the court extended police remand of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo for 2 more days”, said Advo. Manjhpur.
