Ludhaina, Punjab (May 16, 2014): At the time of writing this news (at 17:40 hrs) results for two, out of 13 seats of Punjab, have already been declared. Badal Dal candidate Sher Singh Ghubaya has won Firozepur seat. Aam Aadmi Party Candidate Harinder Singh Khalsa has won Fatehgarh Sahib (SC reserved) seat.
Trends show that three Badal Dal candidates Prem Singh Chandumajra (Anandpur Sahib), Harsimrat Badal (Bathinda), Ranjeet Singh Brahmpura (Kahdoor Sahib) have maintained their lead.
Congress candidates from Ludhaina (Ravneet Bittu), Jalandhar (Santokh Singh Chaudhary) and Amrinder Singh (Amritsar) are leading with considerable margins.
BJP Candidates Vijay Inder Singla (Hoshiarpur) and Vinod Khanna (Gurdaspur) are also leading.
AAP candidates Bhagwant Mann (Sangrur), Prof. Sadhu Singh (Faridkot) and Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi (Patiala) are leading from their seats. Bhagwan Mann and Prof. Sadhu Singh are winning their huge margin.
It is expected that the candidates who are leading at this stage would win their seats.
