New Delhi, India: Hindutva fountainhead is ultimate ruling power in India under Narendra Modi/ BJP’s regime. Indian Home minister Rajnath Singh declined to see the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as an “external force”.
Asked about the RSS, which is seen as the spiritual and ideological guide of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said, “RSS is not an external force. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I are both from the RSS. Where is the question of RSS influence?”
“The PM and I will remain RSS swayamsevaks all our life”, said Rajnath Singh.
He was addressing a session at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in Delhi on Saturday (Nov. 22).
