S. Ajmer Singh’s book “Gadri Babie Kaun Sann?” to be released today at Amritsar

Amritsar, Punjab (September 24, 2013): As per information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Sikh thinker and historian S. Ajmer Singh’s book on Gadhr Movement, titled: Gadri Babie Kaun Sann, shall be released by Giani Gurbachan Singh, Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib on September 24, 2013.

A book release function has been organized by the Singh Brothers (publishers of the book) and Akal Purakh Ki Fauj at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Vekra-Majitha Bye Pass, Amritsar.

The samagam (function) shall is expected to be attended by various Sikh personalities and representatives of various Sikh organizations.

The Gadhr Movement was a Sikh armed movement against the rule of British colonial power. This year is being observed as 100 years (century) of the Gadhr Movement. Indian nationalist and Leftists historians distorted the history of the Gadhr Movement to make it suitable for their ulterior motives. S. Ajmer Singh’s book shatters the misconceptions and ill-conceptions created by those historians about the Gadhr Movement and put the light on true dynamics of the Sikh Gadhr Movement.
