Sahib Singh Victim of Political Misuse of UAPA Narrating His Ordeal During Discussion on UAPA

Chandigarh: A discussion on “Human Rights and Special Laws” at Kisan Bhawan, Chandigarh was held on December 9, 2017. This event was dedicated to Human Rights Day which is observed annually to mark anniversary of adoption of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Various lawyers, human rights activists and victims of misuse of UAPA took part in this discussion which was focused on colossal misuse of UAPA in Punjab.

Sahib Singh a victim of political misuse of the UAPA can be seen narrating his tale in this video during the event. He briefly shares his harrowing experience of unjust detention and torture by the state machinery under the name of UAPA.
