SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar maintained in a statement that the CBI’s move to present a partial report against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in the court testified its lenient attitude of the agency towards the genocide accused.

“It is a pity that everything is not transparent in the investigation which is being undertaken with dilly-dallying tactics that has led to resentment among the Sikh community,” he added, while seeking intervention of the Central Home Ministry to get justice to the victims and their families who have been waiting for three decades.
