Sikh bodies honor victims of police firing in Jammu

Jammu: Following the Antim Ardas program of Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh Jammu, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar and Sikh Youth Front today honoured the victim Singhs of Jammu firing incident with memento of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and Siropao by visiting their homes.

Appreciating the Sikh spirit of injured Singhs, General Secretary of Sikh Youth Front S. Papalpreet Singh said that the youth had erected an example with fearless demonstration against state for tearing posters of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale. He said that the state puppets will hesitate hundreds of time while again daring to disrespect role model of Sikhs.

It can be revealed that in a clash arisen between Sikh youth and Jammu Police on tearing of posters of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh Jammu was martyred with bullets fired by Jammu police. Four other Sikh youth also got injured in this firing which was given free medical treatment at Hardas Hospital of Amritsar. Take care of injured Singhs was observed by S. Navdeep Singh of SADA with the help USA unit of SADA headed by S. Surjit Singh Kalhar. His Antim Ardas was performed today at his village Chohala of Jammu. Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar honoured the family of Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh with gold medal.

Dr. Sharanjit Singh Rataul, S. Ranjit Singh Amritsar, S. Navdeep Singh, Bhai Dilbag Singh Nagoke, Bhai Simranjit Singh Jammu etc. were present on this occasion.
